i found some crushed wires and fiddled with those. also swapped the S3 tps back on and it still pops fuse and the engine temp gauge jumps to >>>>>>>>>>.

so i'm going to change the temp sensors next time i'm there. good chance i'll head over there tomorrow, but sunday is a no-go for me. I have a dude coming up from portland to buy my civic (/crossing fingers).. I've located a suitable mazda-powered replacement.

 

Kk. I'm fiddling with an amp tomorrow, and maybe making a junkyard run to get a SA bin-area sheetmetal if Pull-A-Part has one. You need anything if I go?

Got my multimeter working again (batteries), so I'm ready to hunt down that short. GL with the Civic.
