Chasity white FD question

I am curious if there was ever a White FD model that came to America without a sunroof. Any one know?

i believe so, there has to be some r1 or base models that came over in white, but weather or not they still are white, that might be another question,

Chaste White only came to the US for the 1994 model year.

For the cars that did have sunroof/moonroofs for 1993 & 1994, 1993 had sunroofs (steel) while 1994's had moonroofs (glass).

Base models did not have sunroofs/moonroofs (though I have heard they could possibly be ordered with them if you were willing to wait.

US Production numbers by year including colors and equipment packages are listed here.

http://alecto.bittwiddlers.com/vehic...-numbers.shtml

...and it does show base models in Chaste White (meaning there most likely were 94 Chaste White models without sunroofs).

If you got a (PEP) Popular Equipment Packaged FD in 1994 It came with a Sunroof and not a moonroof which is what I had...

dang I have cash but not that much cash. I heard that pablo in SoCal is selling his 1 out of 1 pearl white FD for 17k without some of the mods.

All I have is 13k on hand but I will most likely strech to 15k and be nearly broke if its a good car. But in this economy it might be best to continue with my 85 corolla as a daily and save. I am almost out of college only 2 quarters to go and I should start thinking about owning my own place. haha looks like by the time I get my dream FD it will be 25 years of age and a classic.

Smart move !

As you may (or maynot) know, FD can stand for;

Finance Depletor
Financial Disaster
Forgetting (about) Debt
FD= F(@#*&g Dinero, cause you are going to need alot of it if you own one

HAHAHA, Sigh

Jesse said something that holds true today. Waiting to get an FD when you can afford it is like waiting to have children when you can afford it. By then your too old.

True that, I remember getting all the documents on trouble shooting every component that had the most common flaws and also reading the engine repair manual back in 04 when I first notice this awesome car.

I know I spoke to Tweek in the past about working on 7's and I admire his gunghoe attitue yet I am more of the reserved tpye that is very busy as is and I don't have a **** load of time to work on a complex car. So paying for the 4k maintance cost every 50k miles is what I would do normally. I am a driver damit, not a machanic = P

I think that is my biggest fear about this car. becoming to old to care anymore or the car is far too rare or impossible to own. My fav kit and rims for the car are already rare and not in production anymore =(
