Joe, I think you could keep your CAS setup and use 2nd gen coils without the need for an ECU... correct me if I'm wrong.

I was under the understanding a 12A dizz would slide right into a 13B CAS hole... no?

is there a difference in the coils, Example: 86se opposed to 91 T2... Is one better than the other or are they all the same??

all the coils are the same. if your running a stock ecu i dont think u could remove the cas and use any aftermarket one and expect it to be able to work.

ohh if your gonna run a carb, then get like a gsl-se distributer or somethign... i dont think msd makes the actual distributer for rotarys but i could be wrong.

Well since you use a first gen front plate when doing a T2 swap, unless you swap sub frames. I would think that the stock FB dizzy would work best. I'd have the first gen dizzy fire a CDI box of some sort, to a secound gen coil, or aftermarket dual post. the Dizzy pretty much works as the CAS for the 2G Coils.

Run the dizzy and wiring is the easyest. not to mention I would think trailing ignition would be a PITA without a ECU

IDK for shure but I think they both use J-109's so I would think they where the same, but Joe probably has a SE dizzy, or knows where he can get one.
