Car shows?

So whats the deal with NW car shows?

I'm interested in participating, not just spectating.
  • RX-7 Shows (Apple Blossom still going on??)
  • JNC shows
  • Import shows

Which one's do y'alls hit up and whats your favs? I had a lot of fun at apple blossom, but seem to be out of the loop - is that even still a thing for rotorites?

in my opinion, any time you get at least two running RX7s in a driveway/garage it's a car show

Old School Reunion

If you have a 1st gen RX-7 or other old rotary, you should be going to this one:

https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/125727104267949/

I was there last summer with my Skyline powered FB, along with John Swide and his 79 SA. We only saw two other rotaries. It was a big turnout with a lot of very interesting cars.

NW rotor rally died. it was a lot of fun and had huge turnouts the first couple years, then it went down hill. i think i attended the 2-3 of them and missed the last one or two and then it was nothing. apple blossom festival used to be huge, young people from all over the state would converge, i think its nowhere near as big as it used to be but not sure. nw rotor rally started because flamecarsteve lived there and was big into rx7's as was friends with a lot of us and invited us over. he still lives there and has rotary stuff but not really active on here anymore. Hope this helps explain what happened.

man I miss the old apple blossums! yeah I was getting the vibe the event it self was getting smaller, I think the over the top police force sort of calmed it down..

remember the packed strip and the dyno right by the street shooting fire *****!

brad used to take care of all the logistics, it seemed to start declining once he left the scene...

theres a lot more planning and stuff than it appears with the sponcers we had
