This is going to be competing with AB so the turn out may be small. Also the attached file is too small to read.

You mean besides the motor failing, nope. We have yet to tear it down but I think the oil rings failed. Compression never came around fully and gas was always in the oil. Were pulling it and going for another rebuild. Just one of those things, no one is to blame. Luckly this one won't cost me a dime, I hope.

I plan to have it up and runnning again for AB, but I'm cutting it close. Hell maybe the FB will be ready, but it's cutting it close also.

No, I'm leaving it in Mike Janousck's (253-209-0698) hands. He is great guy. I'll be heading down his way this weekend to tear the thing apart and see what happened. With any luck I can have it back by mid week next week. But I'm not counting on it.

I'm just up to my eye ***** in car work. The third needs attention, the first needs attention and now my DD 3 cylinder sprint's clutch is slipping. DAMN!!! I have the parts, I'm just not looking forward in doing it's clutch. It shouldn't be that hard though, everything is right on the top and fairly striaght forward.

P.S. Sorry to hijack this thread.

yup i changed the clutch on my DD just recently, it wasn't that bad, i thought it'd be a hard fix but it was surprisingly easy, it was just hard physically like moving my bell housing into my wheel well. except my hydraulics are messed up, the fluid is absolutely dirty. So how long have you known mike? or how did you hear about him? i think i remember you told me something about it when we met up for brad's first gen. sorry for hijacking the thread too.

I've known Mike for a bit now and we are pretty good friends. We met through a mutual friend on the forum and I try to push as many people his way as I can. He is an honest guy and knows his ****. I won't let just anybody work on my FD and he won me over some time ago.
