its all my fault i showd up with a bummed motor and brought the bad carma, sorry dudes, lol i did beat my motor into submission on the way home tho and it ran decent for a little wile untill i went to go over to a freinds house later that night and then it wanted to run like crap again, ohwell, anyone want to buy a 2001 gsxr750 to fund my motor rebuild? lol

 

Evidentially all you have to do is start them, thats when it happened. I heard crunch, crunch, crunch as it started then the motor shook a bunch and it just"died in my arms tonight". Can someone order me some french crys and a WAA-mburger... dirka dirka.

So if anyone has a motor they are willing to trade I do have some stuff.
85 straight gsl shell with no sunroof 78 280z and a complete 86 5.0 HO mustang engine including the wiring harness and ecu.

 

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO GIVE A SPECIAL THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE IT. AS YOU HEARD THE BAD NEWS ABOUT DEVIN'S GSL-SE, AND THE CURB MISHAP WITH DAVID'S S4. BESIDES THAT IT WAS A GOOD MEET. WE ARE PLANNING ON ANOTHER MEET IN LATE APRIL. WE WILL PLAN A NICE MARY'S PEAK RUN AND A BBQ FOR THAT ONE. ALSO I WANTED TO MENTION 7-7-07. WHAT IS EVERYONE DOING? I AM SURE WE WILL BE CELEBRATING HERE IN ALBANY, UNLESS THEIR IS SOMETHING ELSE FUN CLOSE BY.

Yeah late april sounds good, i'll have my car back and broken in by then for sure.

 

i took my car to an alignment shop, and it seems that the curb prevailed victorious. my camber angle on the drivers side rear is like two degrees off, if anyone has a good factory camber link let me know, i hope to get it fixed before it starts chewing tires.

 

know good dude, i curbed mine bad when we had the snow, tried to drive home and just hit a packed spot, hence the curb rash on my front wheels, oh well its all fixable

 

I still need an engine so if ya'll know someone that has one let me know. I'm desparate as I now have no transportation.

 

talk to rob up at pineaple hes got an fd shortblock for sale for like 1500 is all, almost brand new motor, and well if ya needed ive got all the external stuff for it, but that would require some different motor mounts and running a fd harness and ecu, but give him a call and see what he has laying around the shop, he might be able to snag you a good shortblock for cheap

 

I got another engine now. Im preping it for install now. Wish I could slap the one good housing and rotor from the old motor on the new one. Zoom Zoom ohyea!
