Building my FD
I'm slowly making proggess on my new toy and i figured id throw some pictures up and eventually some dyno videos. I purchased the car in actually running condition but opted to convert it straight to a single, the motor had just been rebuilt by Pineapple Racing but of course seeings Pineapple is in the same complex as well as a working relation ship i had him open the motor up and do some extra porting.
So far i have:
-twin Aeromotive stealth pumps feeding a -10 and then splitting over to -8 feeding both rails with a Magna fuel regulator.
-2x ID 1000cc primaries
-2x ID 2200cc Secondaries E85
-Xcessive oil pan and lower intake manifold
-Rotary Werks throttle body ( which we are absolutely falling in love with, they are a beautiful CNC'd peace as well as you get to delete the constant problems associated with the stock throttle body)
-Forged performance exhaust manifold
-Forged performance intercooler kit
-Precision 6262
-some kind of 3.5 inch exhaust not 100% sure how i want to run it yet.
-For now im gonna use a Apexi Power Fc, but really look forward to upgrading to a AEM hopefully by next year.
-I'm lucky the car came with most of the other supporting mods to make all this work together.
This year my goal is really just getting the car to run well and enjoy it, the eventual goal of competeing in local and close to local time attack events ( i have a old addiction to drag racing so i'm sure ill do a couple passes to see what it'll do ). Hopefully by next week i should have some significant progress seeing i'm selling my old drag race shell and other misc parts to pay for the final peaces of the puzzle.
