the build

ok so its been awhile since iv posted anything about my 2jz project here in the nw section, been staying in the other engine conversions section so i thought id share with the locals .
havent gotten around to starting the actual swap yet, just been collecting parts and building the motor first

car- 1989 TII
motor- toyota 2jz (built)
modd list
-titian motor sports cams, Intake - 272 Duration / 9.45mm lift,Exhaust - 272 Duration / 9.45mm lift (stock =248°/248° 200°/204° .339"/.346" 8.61/8.79)
-Brian Crower valve springs and retainers
-arp rod bolts, head studs.
-cp forged pistions
-new usdm water pump
-powerhouse racing kevlar timing belt
-unorthodox racing adjustable cam gears
-titian motor sports fuel rail
-FFW connections 1000cc injectors
-aeromotive a1000 fuel pump and pressure regulater
-garrett GT40 turbo
-Twin tial 44mm wastgates
-1jz billit flywheel
-rps stage 3 clutch (able to with stand 730ft tq)
-r154 trans

left to get, aem ems V2. virtural works intake manifold

my head is being machined and should be done in the next week then ill be putting everything together. the block is now completely forged and bullet proof and able to make more power than i will ever need, its able to withstand 1000hp with no problems. ill get some pics up for you guys soon

Questions...
5sp or 6sp?
Plans for mounting the engine?
Do you expect the engine to hit the crossmember?
Will the radiator be in the original position or will you move it vertical to make space?

Is a 5 spd, for mouting the engine I'm making a custom cross member so no its not gonna hit it lol, only problem I have seen is the sway bar will need to be changed. Ill prolly be moving the raidiator like I did in my 302 build.

start with some pics of the shop, we just moved from our 20x30ft unit to this... the mustang is leaving but the wrx and dsm are some other long term projects
