How is the practice going to work since the NWR-SCCA has their #3 event at Bremerton on the 25th?

Technically no... Just avoid drifting for the most part and you'll be fine. Sides, you dont want to drift as its much slower.

Basically they dont want novices spinning out and slowing everyone down and/or safety hazards.

As a course worker, I'd be really nervous to see someone drifting through the course. I'd also be a bit annoyed at having to replace a bunch of cones that someone drifted right through. I would think that the Bremerton site would be too narrow to drift safely, not that I haven't drifted around an apex turn there. Keep in mind that I'm a terrible driver so my drifting was just do to inexperience rather than stupidity.

Its ok to drift the occational corner out of inexperiance or purpose, but its not ok to go out and try to drift all over the place. Basically we dont want to see anyone run over, or give courseworkers a heart attack by making them run all over the place...

No intentional drifing, our insurance does not cover it and you will be asked to leave.

We'll be there. May bring the volvo out on Saturday hopefully chipped with a bigger turbo and the coupes on monday. SEe you all there!

SCCA will run on one end of the course and the practice will be on the other.

Is the practice an all day affair (like the members only practice on that Friday), or is it a practice day like the Feb. practice event?

My run group with the SCCA is in the morning. It would be great to be able to do the BSSC practice in the PM.

Of course, that would all depend on getting approval from my wife of course.

PS: Nice to see the results from the BSSC #2 up on the website. Not that it matters but I don't think there is any way I ran a 51.3 on my first run. That is slow, but I'm still much slower than that.

It will probably run all day. We'll be determining the format at the meeting tomorrow. Bring the wife, have her co-drive.

She would have to fight my son for the spot.

I did get one of my staff members to send her son and husband out to #2. They had a great time. They plan on going to number three but this time they are bringing two cars and Mom, Dad, Son and Daughter are all going to drive.

I'll look forward to the details. Autocross is way too much fun for someone my age.
