Bremerton Sports Car Club racing schedule for 2006

Hey Folks,
Here is the expanded Bremerton Sports Car Club racing schedule for 2006.
We will 17 events this year with twice as many track days! So, here is what it will look like. The first Novice School will be March 12, this is 4 hours of driving for $25. The practices will have a varied format depending on who is chairing the event. Most will b pretty informal and others will be just like a race event. (I personally like the informal event because you often get a ton of runs!) The Race event days will stay the same and the track days will be using the SCCA Road Racing course. If you want to get involved in the track days make sure you have a novice school or two and a couple racing events under your belt.

BSCC Schedule 2006
Day Date Event
Sun 2/19 Practice*
Sun 3/12 School
Sun 3/19 Event 1
Sun 4/9 Event 2
Sun 5/28 Practice*
Mon 5/29 Event 3
Sun 6/11 Event 4
Fri 6/30 Track
Sun 7/2 Event 5
Tue 7/4 Practice*
Fri 8/11 Track
Sun 8/13 Event 6
Fri 9/1 Track
Mon 9/4 Event 7
Fri 10/6 Track
Sat 10/7 School
Sun 10/8 Event 8

If you have questions let me know!
See you at the track ~ JEB

Oh ya, membership in BSCC
This is the time to start. Membership for brand new folks is $25 and with that you get a free race event (a $25 value). You also save $5 at every event. If you can pre-register for event and save another $5 a race. If you go to all 17 events membership saves you like $120 a year.
Just a thought from a cheap Mazda guy.

not yet, I dunno how to really do it (i have seen pictures and read how... but still dont *know* how... if that makes any sence), but the prices for them don't seem that bad.
Either way, we will be there if we can get it off from work, have 2 cars and 2 drivers that want more learnin

BSCC has a brand new webpage at www.bscc.net and on that webpage there is a membership form you can down load and mail in. I will also bring some to the next Izzy's event.

im just new with this road racing so i have a few questions. Would i need a racing license or i can go and just register? Also if im under 18 would i need a parent consent or some guardian to sign my waiver?

This is autocrossing not road racing. There are the solo time trials which are racing on the road course but is still solo just at higher speeds. I cant tell you about the rules for the solo time trials but i think you need to be 18 or maybe even 21. For the autocross events you can be under 18, but you will need a minor release/authorization form filled out and signed by your parents. Both events do not require any type of competition license just a valid drivers license.
