Back to order

Hello all. Ryan has been feeling the need for some more moderation back in the NW section due to recent events. Long story short, here I am. In addition there is another candidate that Ryan will be talking to soon and deciding on. If all goes well he will be helping out too.

I, and the prospect, are being made into mods to try and get things back into order. The FS/WTB sticky was removed and now we have a bunch of random threads scattered, people have issues and are posting about it, and other issues have been occurring, as many of you know.

We are not here to take sides! I am, and must, remain unbiased, but I also must uphold the rules that every section of the forum has always been regulated under. Ryan was recently put into a very difficult situation. I know a very large percentage of you were close personal friends to those involved in the situation. I have also talked to CB2 over AIM for a long time. But you all must understand that Ryan had to remain neutral in the situation. People have the right to give their opinion on dealings, this was not the issue. The issue was that certain beliefs were continuously beaten to death for almost a year, from what I recall. Once the issue becomes a legal dispute, it no longer needs to be discussed in public until a verdict is rendered.

Please understand that I, and Ryan, are not trying to take anyone’s side. Let the law make a decision and afterwards all can go back to normal hopefully. I know some of you don't agree and have migrated to nopistons. That is your decision to make and you must do what you believe is best for yourself.

Anyways, all this rambling does have a point! I have been given this position to hopefully help clean things up and allow our community to once again become just that, a community.

If you have any questions, issues, concerns, or comments please do not hesitate to let me know. I'm leaving this thread up as a sticky for around a week so that people can see it and express their thoughts or concerns. Please feel to post in here so that everyone can be remain on the same page and to allow the knowledge or concerns to be public. However, if you cross any lines I will be inclined to delete it

Keep it fun and clean!

Drew

I am glad the complaining has died down. I would rather people just leave than talk about how they are going to leave forever and not really doing it. On a more serious note, I think the FS/WTB sticky is the best thing this forum could have if kept up.

I wonder then why my threads disappeared, they weren't beaten to death, nor were they uncivilized either.

None of that had anything to do with me, yet mine disappeared as well.
