I have my R-Magic kit STILL in storage, and I will be tracking down the parts to
get my roller rolling under its own force. Its good to be back, I miss the wafting
aroma of raw unspent fuel.....

Well honestly I've been looking for a new project car for a long time, I'd been looking at a TE27 Corolla Mango, a RX-3 and a rhd SA22... Well the Rx sold, I planned buying the mango but the shipping would have raped me... I talk to the guy with the SA and told him I'd pick it up from him that weekend, well he ended up parting the car so I was SOL

I'd mentioned the fact to Jaime G (battlecat) and lo, he told me he had a buddy selling a rhd roller, I immediately started trying to get a hold of the guy who owned the roller and Jaime, and was able to pick it up for cheap.

The story on the roller is that it was brought into the country several years ago and was registered, its been stolen from the old owner twice and recovered, and the guy has a pretty love hate relationship with it now. He fixes it up, enjoys it for awhile and it gets nicked and stripped

He is trying to see it in a good home, with someone that's been around for awhile who will make it tasteful

 

so you did get it?

 

I did Ryan, well, its down in Gardena getting a new heart right now, but I did manage to buy it about a week ago.
The guy that sold it to me sounds like he was extremely passionate about the car, and wanted to put a new powertrain
in it for me before I send it up =) I'm hoping it will be in WA in 2-3 weeks....

BTW, sounds like we all live in Renton now =P I'm literally two blocks away from Chad (Jhereg) its cool having
other RX guys right in the area, much nicer than when I was in Kent or West Seattle. I think you (Ryan) were in
Milton last time I heard from you =/

yeah there are several of us in this area, I notice when I drive my fd ( which isn't that often) I almost allways drive past another forum member in his red one also on 4th lol. I live out in the woods in the highlands

we should try to make some kind of meet up here, perhaps in the renton landing parking garage or something

@Ryan we deff need a Renton meet, it seems like most of us are here for some reason, and WoB is right close for after meet drunken giant jenga matches. Nothing say fun like a giant brick on it head

 

I should've clarified. Dojo3 is a studio for dance, krav maga, etc.; not a person.

 

Per Dojo3 ..... idk, this chick could probably take me in a fight, not so sure I want to meet her

 

lol. Krav Maga is the new thing apparently. Imagine the impact if she came flying at you without the girl holding her back with the rope... ouch!

They're all super friendly though. Great way to meet people.

Haven't been to a meet in awhile, just can't get home early enough for the Izzy's meet. Renton, Bellevue, wherever.

 

Some interesting news that I just heard that made my day, looks like a little birdy
will be coming back from Japan with a Yours Sport wide body kit for my car, I haven't
even gotten it up here yet and its already making me broke =(

On the plus side.... well... yeah you know...

I just realized something, considering that I have my R-Magic kit already, car will end up looking like this little badass right here, same kit, R-Magic front and rear bumpers, Yours Sport wide body, and a whole lotta "bwahahaha" lol. I guess its back with a bang. Anyone know good body shop around here that can fit my car?
