So, did you call Jerry this morning and ask about the cost for replacing the FPD? It is possible it isn't that, but that is the most likely culprit. Do a search and see if there is something else that it might be.

So anyways I don't have that kind of money and I did a cost analysis and right now it is costing me $400+ a month just for my car to sit in my driveway. I don't have the energy to fix this or the time and money. I think I may just get a new car... so I will post my car in the for sale but I don't think I am going to wait long...

Blueshift, that sounds very high, even doing your numbers for the hours he provided 10 hours of labor (5 to get it on, 5 to get it off) at $90 = $900, then a new fuel pulsation damper is like $100 (and to have your injectors replaced can't be much more while he is in there). If you want I will have my extra set of injector back soon and they can be refurb'ed by witchhunter for like $18 each and the only other fuel related item that I think it could be under there is the fuel regulator (I don't know the cost of it, but I don't imagine it can be much more than the FPD). Well there is 1 more fuel related item, fuel lines, but they aren't that expensive. Alternatively, maybe you can get the parts and round up someone on here familiar with it to help you. I would volunteer, but I haven't worked on this part of the car myself.

Chris, I'm sorry to hear the bad news! I understand the whole getting slapped in the face part...trust me! Seriously though, it's a buyer's market at the moment. There are some FDs that have been on the market for a while and still are. It may cost you just as much to have it sitting there waiting for a buyer.

Yeah, I called jerry and he quoted me $2000. 5 hours in labor just to get in and find the problem. + parts to replace + 3-5 hours just to put it back together at $90 an hour... :
