Found a 60K S5 N/A longblock over in Texas for $1400. 3 month unlimited mile warranty. Thinkin about getting it and trying to blow it and get a new or rebuilt one from them for free.......Does anyone have any experience with asapmotors.com?????? Good or bad?

Your going to pay 1400 for a n/a from texas. Wow your a nice guy. I bought a 1990 Jspec s-5 turbo for 995.00 locally. Runs great. You should shop locally first, and save the shipping cost.

i got my motor from a friend for 250 bux, sure its only a S3 NA, and he didn't know the condition of it, but it sure made a great core for rebuilding... but a NA motor with 60k on the clock already is not worth 1400 bux... oh, and just fyi, on my street ported 6 port with holley 600cfm carb, i averaged 19mpg on the last fill up, so don't put porting completely out of ur mind if u keep ur crazy driving to the track(or at least limit it) then u can get decent gas mileage on a street port... my last TII had a "street port"(i use that term loosely, it had bigger ports than stock, but they weren't nice, or even the right shape...) and on the highway it averaged 23 mpg when i wasn't in the boost... the city was a different story, i was always in the boost, so it was like 10-12...
