Anyone else go to The Ridge this weekend?
Inaugural event at the Ridge was GREAT!
All sorts of cars and a ride on the track if you brought 3 cans of food. I had a great ride in a Porsche Cayman R. The track is so much fun, so smooth, wow – here is a vid of one of the first cars on it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-u5xmS6nL8I
The Crazy Canadian Rotary guys from RetroRacing where there break in a new Pport in an Rx7, and a new 12A in an Rx3. These guys run several old Rotary cars, an Rx2, Rx3, and a couple Rx7s. Retro Racing- http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=47468128013
The ridge is on the west side of Shelton (25 minutes from my house), and events for next year are already scheduled. The facility will run road racing, drags, and autocross. It is big enough to run two events at one timeThe Ridge - http://www.ridgemotorsportspark.com/

The drag track and autocross area are not paved yet. The ground work continues and the construction team has been working weekend, so look for those to be done soon. Spoke to one of the principals and he was speaking about a new laterally lock asphalt. Great stuff.

Opening weekend!
Ridge Racing School is pleased to announce our opening March 16-17-18 on St. Patrick’s Day weekend. The event is open to any experienced drivers with several days of solo driving experience. Racecars are welcomed and encouraged! You will want to attend this event to be one first to drive this amazing new track and be a part of our launch weekend.
