I just bought my first 3rd gen.. a 93 RX7 that's been sitting for a year.. The mechanic that I bought it from was able to get it up and running but it smoked horribly. Is there anyone in PDX that could spare a couple hrs over the weekend to take a look at it, and see if the motor is salvageable.. the car has 100+K miles on the stock turbos, so I presume the oil is coming from there, but I am not real knowledgeable about the rotary... I would be happy to compensate you for your time.. Pizza ... Beer... some cash maybe? let me know.

if its your turbos that are bad and nothing else hit me up, i have a set of stock twins with almost zero shaft play, and they never smoked, i think they might need one of the feed line gaskets changed but thats easy enough to do, two bolts, remove the pipe, make a gasket and put the pipe back on

 

sounds good... hopefully I will get a chance to hook up with pportnosgsl this weekend and we'll see what's goin on with it.
