Anybody know how to use a rotary buffer

I'm getting my montego blue '94 PEP back into shape. I got a new/used hood that is generally in good shape but needs some cleaning up because of water spots and oxidation. I've got a porter cable random orbital buffer, but I think that will take a long time with this hood to get it well polished.

So, does anybody have a rotary buffer and know how to use it that would like to lend me a hand. The hood is off the car so it shouldn't be too tough to clean it up.
PM me.

Thanks,
Justin Wade

Yo justin,
Hit up adam or john. (John owns apex restoration)
They can get you started.

ouch! be careful with one of those, best left to a professional. I do it all by hand. I watched trucks one day and they refinished half a hood in the condition you describe with 2000 grit wet (wet!) sandpaper to smooth it out, the buffed it, sealed it and waxed it. It looked soooo good I did the same to my wifes Saturn, and what a difference!
