Any chance of a caravan to engine building class?

I know there are several people than need, or would like, to catch a ride to the engine building class (myself included). I need to find out ASAP if there is anyone I could catch a ride with or if there is a place for a group to meet to pitch in on gas to get there. I could drive I suppose, I have room for 4 maybe not the most comfortably, and it would be in a Honda to boot. If a caravan or a carpool is likely lets get a place set up for it. Other than our Oregon members I think I am probably the furthest South, so an ideal place for me to meet up would be Olympia. Chime in with plans, times, places, anything! Thanks.

See Adrian there is an advantage for you to come to this. You forgot your fender last time you were here. Come to this class with Robert and I will give you a free fender. Will even take Robert on that little road trip we did last time you were here. You can even meet the rest of us crazy slow east siders.

Let me know guys.

So it seems that I will be a mode of transporation for up to 4 people that are interested. Someone short should be the one to sit behind me as I am 6'5". Other than that lets get a place to meet... Izzy's? And also what time should we meet? I will need a co-pilot anyhow. I should also clean out some of the crap I have in the back of my car and in the trunk. Don't worry co-passengers.. I will make sure my car will be suitable for the trip. I just need to pick up a new CD/Tape adapter so we could have tunes other than the radio.

If there is a better/defferent place others would like to meet to catch a ride please let me know what that place would be. I imagine it would need to be some place where you could get dropped off or could safely leave your vehicle. Please post so I can get this figured out ASAP. Oh yeah... Hey Kettlman, if you can make it to this please let me know so I can reserve a seat for you.

Well I'm down to roll over with you, but I Live in Seattle so It's kind of pointless for me to drive down to Oly. I live about 5 minutes from I-90..

Yeah, it would be the thread that is pinned near the top of the page.
Well if there is a good place not too far of the path then I could make a stop on the way. Hopefully kompressorlogic will chime in, he lives near Fife and needs a ride, so he may also be a stop. I really was hoping I wouldn't have to make a bunch of stops on the way because I am OK usually with directions... Even with mapquest. I work well with exit numbers and landmarks.

Your more than welcome to stay at Johns or our house if you were to consider coming. John could probably use the extra help from a knowledgeable person such as yourself.

I think I got this figured out now...
Kompressorlogic if still interested tell me a good place to pick you up that would be convieniant for me to get off the freeway (PM me with a place and directions, like exit number and place)

hypermenace if still interested please let me know what would be a convieniant place, for me, that is on the way, to pick you up.(PM me with exit number and place to get you, you know... Directions.)

FC/DC you really should go to this especially with your engine luck so please also let me know what would be a convieniant place that is on the way to pick you up (PM me with exit number and place to get you, you know... Directions.)

This will make my personal caravan full because the wife is unsure if she want to go.

Well, my plans to run to cali fell through so I'll try and make it out for the build. I see if I can't bring a fellow rotor head with me also.

I look forward to see you guys.

I will do my best to make it. I really would like to see that process from another person and pick their brain.

Thanks for the offer to put me up, but I'll probably make the drive back to my side of town that evening. My bed tends to make me drive many hours to get back to it sometimes. I'll most likely leave in the morning sometime in hopes to make it around 1:00-1:30. Just a long day trip. Thanks Though. That was thoughful.

Although I wouldn't mind seeing Mike again also. I'm sure I'll see him later though.
Joe
