Any BNSF railway rotards in here?

I currently work for BNSF in Kansas but have been wanting to move to the NW for a while now. I can now do it pretty reasonably if I apply for an open position up there and get it. My real question is if anyone on here works for BNSF in the NW region and what they think of their shops and what shop would be the best to go to. Id either go in as a machinist or boilermaker from my laborer craft If i cant get a conductor position. I work in a back shop currently so im not used to a running repair shop but would adapt easily. Hoping to get some insight on things. How steady work is, how many people hire in and general stuff like that. Sorry for the long post but im very interested am not sure what to ask. Thanks in advance and i hope to hear from some of you guys

No idea on the train work... Though, the NW is a great area for rotaries.
There are regular meets up near Seattle and Spokane, and a bunch of cool events down here in Oregon [ Rotary Power Northwest and the Red Door Meet ]

Sweet. The KC area isnt that great. The rotary scene kinda died down and we are all dispersed but we are kinda coming together. I really like the NW because they are the mountain bike mecca of the country and i would really like to mountain bike on actual mountains instead of having to drive to other states. Lol im currently workin on gettin my 87 running and i have another parts shell thats an 87 as well
