About that garage rental post....

DISCLAIMER: i am in no way affiliated with the below mentioned business. i just live somewhat close to it and think its a cool resource.

If you are in the south end of seattle and need garage space for a day, check out Self Serve Garage in Kent, Washington | Do It Yourself Auto Garage | Auto Repair Shop Rental in Kent, Washington

they rent out shop space and have a few lifts, press, air tools etc. its a decently outfitted shop and they rent by the hour. they also have things like oil change specials where you can do an oil change for 10 bucks on their drive on lift.

I use that to do transmission or diff changes rather than using an intricate system of jacks and laying on my back in my own garagae.

I also go there from time to time when i need a press for any reason. 10 bucks and i can use it for an hour.

check it out, they had punch cards last time i was there and they do negotiate daily and weekly rates as i recall.
