4 port questions

So i have gotten so many mixed answers my head is spinning....

Can you put a older style 4port intake from let say a repu motor onto a newer S4 or S5 4 port turbo motor?

I am trying to set up my S5 and S4 turbo motors with side draft carb set ups but i cant find any manifolds that are for the newer ones, just the older ones..

Can the older ones be modified to work on the new ones? How would one go about doing this?

Thanks!

I don't think so. I think you need to get some carb adaptors for the stock manifold. Or custom build one. I'd go with adaptors.

I know my buddu has a dellorto setup from racing beat on an S4 NA lower manifold. But I would lean towards an adapter. It can't be that big a difference except that I think the older 13B's had the secondary ports a bit further out fron the center.

Sure, you can adapt anything depending on how much time you want to spend on it. I think if you are just going old school four ports to turbo blocks the issue is with the outer mounting bolts.
