So, Ive been curious the whole time Ive known they were there, but there are 2 second gens at a house out by me, one seems to be lowered with wheels, the other sits and may be for parts, all stock it seems. Anyway, I was behind the one with the wheels the other day going down some semi cuvy backroads in a Miata with a body kit. I was just wondering who it was if youre on here or whatever. Oh, and in case you are and youre wondering why the eff the Miata wasnt losing ground in those curvies, its because its my buddies car and I installed coilovers on all 4 corners, and KYB 8 way adjustable struts with some 17x7 TSW wheels. That **** corners like its on rails. Best handling car Ive ever driven. I was slaloming through the yellow dashes on the road at 50 MPH without tire squeal. I envy the way that thing handles, too bad its slow as ****, lol.

17's on a miata? Thats larger than I would run even though the new Mazdaspeed Miata runs 17's. I am running 16X7.5's and thats the largest I would go except to a wider rim when I go fender flairs. KYB 8 ways are a great mod though. Miatas hate unsprung mass. When you said driving Miata I was starting to wonder what the heck you doing in a Miata.

 

LMAO, yeah, theyre big (but do look good) and HEAVY AS ****, but the car was originally a show car so he didnt care about weight, now going towards performance. Anyway, I guess its not anyone on here? Hmmm... "the RX-7 club knows about you" seems appropriate soon.
