unfortunately for 7 owners, it is a "mature" 0.7 mile long gravel road. The county just treated it with wood pulp waste or whatever cheap material they use to do dust abatement.. if you go slow, no harm will come to your vehicle... if you go 60, rocks will fly. I've lived here forever so I tend to ignore the road surface and have given up on clean cars....
you could always park at the bottom of the road and jog up to the house! of course, the elevation change and heat exhaustion would probably give you a heart attack if you are in the shape I am

Well, some of my wife's relatives are coming to town this weekend. So it looks like I WILL try to attend the BBQ. Jenkin, just in case I'm late, can you PM me your Phone #?

haha, be careful for all the drivers in this town. Today I was waiting a few cars back at the light between the union gap police station and costco. I think thats 1st st. or something, but some lady comes up behind me ( I was a few cars back and the light was red) and honks. I thought she accidentally hit her horn so I gave her the "what?" gesture. She lays on her horn and flicks me off. I return the gesture when she rams into me. !O.o! The next 2 seconds I do not remember, but I THINK I pulled my ebrake, opened my door (assuming I didn't jump out my sunroof <-- not joking I might have I really can't remember), and I was at her driver side door before my car stopped rocking.

The first thing I said was, OHHHH man, you don't have insurance do you! She remarked no, and her ... 4 or 5 .... kids in the back started crying. If anybody knows me, I am normally a pretty calm guy. Well the last months worth of stress came out out of my mouth in the next 5 mins. She started crying and I was threatening to call the police and have her *** deported. blah blah blah Some guy in the next lane screamed women drivers! and a whole bunch of weird comments. He was just sitting and watching. I told her to let me see her license (so I could throw it across the street), but ohhhh she didn't have one. Surprise!

By this time she is crying and her kids are screaming SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY! I started to calm down and I got back in my car and drove off. There doesn't seem to be any damage but ...damn.

I feel better now btw. I wanted to call the cops so bad, she had no insurance AND no drivers license! I think that other guy called and reported her, so maybe she ended up getting pulled over I donno. I didn't have time to mess with that stuff.

I should have asked for money to get a new bumper, but ... maybe the rotary karma gods will be nice to me on my next engine.

Anyways, watch out for the bad drivers!

i would have taken the keys to her car, thrown them down the first storm drain i saw, called the cops, and watched that bitch getting hauled off.

I like the Rob approach :-) Sux to have any damage happen that isn't your fault though! especially when it is as dumb as this situation!

looks like the wind isn't going to be to bad, nor the heat. It is funny that we have a cold front come in, and it drops the temp down to 83
