Talked to rob, he thinks that if we want to build / fix that engine we will need some special tools. :/ I guess something like ... valve spring compressor tool or .... something. All these parts for 140 hp .. tisk tisk.

well i would assume its a 2.0si?? 5 speed?
if so than it is a dohc, and you cant fit a cheapo valve spring comressor on it.

you would need one like this to make life easier:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Valve...motiveQ5fTools

now one thing to consider, make sure its a burnt vavle. if it dropped a valve the engine is pretty much junk, and a quick easy fix turns into a expensive waste of time.

BTW jenks. carful with the whole "honda" word, some people on here frown upon it.

oh and tweak, for a little honda they arnt too bad, i have seen a few around here at the track running low 15s stock. not great, but not cavalier status either...lol

if you need any more info let me know. i have been into those cars a few time...lol..
those of you who know me understand the comment better than the rest..lol

ha, if only it was a b20... this is a b21a, the worst honda engine ever made according to preludepower...
but!
i have a line on a b20a5 head that will drop on and has 16 good valves so no spring compressor needed.
did get a estimate on a R&R for the head at $1400. motherpussbuckets asce mechanics are expensive.
oooops, better throw in some rotary words or they'll toss us off the forum...
apex seal, rotor, eshaft.......
thanks for the offer, guess i'll go see how low the guy will go to offload his car that is not worth the money to fix it (oh wait, i already have 14 of those)

1400 to r&r a hea.. holy crap...
i can have mine off i 45 mins..lol
1400... lol.... wow maybe i should open a repair shop for hondas at that price.
if you dont want to work on it actually, my buddy that does the honda work, he could proly R&R the head way cheaper.
but its and easy job. if you need help maybe i can roll up there one day or something. its and easy 1 day ordeal, shouldnt take much more than that.

you would be suprized, there is a guy i know, and he always buys that year of prelude from copart, fixes them and sells them for good coin. i dont know how but i have seen him sell them everywhere from 1800 to 2500. but the ones he sells have decent paint and no dents and stuff, but still.
i think the 92 erra of prelude is just ugly, especially the dash. my buddies GF had one and it was just cramped and i didnt like it too much.
