1984 RX7 - do i need to get an initial emissions test on registration?
Car is currently registered in Cowtown, WA, where the yokels don't believe in the government interfering with what comes out the back-end of your car.
Now that i'm in seattle, it would be significantly easier and less stressful to just get everything all synced up (mostly so i can get renters insurance at my place).
I know that there's a 24 year cut-off, but for some reason i remember something about having to get an initial test when you get a new car or something. Could be total BS tho.
Will i need to get an initial emissions test, or am I fully exempt from sniffer and visual? 1984 RX7.

"(2) The following motor vehicles are exempt from emission test requirements:
(a) Motor vehicles that are less than five years old or more than twenty-five years old;"
