  • Condition Used
Description:

I'm looking to buy a base/R1/R2 in good condition with factory twins. Stock is good, but also open to lightly modified examples. Vintage Red preferred. Located in Texas, but also willing to travel!

I have been an admirer of the FD for many years but have never owned one - am finally able to buy one and would like to start with a good example.

Please reply or PM if you have anything you're willing to let go that fits this criteria. Thanks!

I would check out BAT. There is a fairly regular supply of stock or close-to-stock FDs there.

This one closes in a few days:

My 93 R1, not sure what your budget is. I've gone thru the entire car, its close to perfect. I've considered selling it lately.

Bardi, that looks very nice and I'm sure someone will be very happy with it. I have had a couple of offers of BB cars, but right now I'm still holding out for my preferred color/spec, a VR R1/R2. Thanks for the offer, your car looks killer.

Motoron, I'm a serious buyer with enough budget to buy the car I want. The main issue is actually finding the right car. I had been in contact with a '93 VR R1 owner and we agreed on a price, but he decided to keep until the end of the summer to see how the market changes, so I'm still looking.

If you could put the BB cars on here I’d appreciate it. I’m in the exact same boat as you with a pile of cash waiting to go. I live in WI

The other BB offer was from forum member fd3sY8S here in Texas. Not sure if he still has the car or is even interested in selling still, but it sounded like a very nice example. You should be able to PM once you have enough posts. GL

Bardi, I PMed you but am unsure if you can receive messages through the forums. No pressure to respond, but if you didn't get it could you let me know if there's an alternative way you prefer to be contacted? Thanks!

^ I saw that one (I check BaT all the time) but it's a Touring. Also don't love the mods...

Glad to see this post revived, thus registering to post my ask as a reply (can't post in classified field yet).

I'm also looking for LHD Base/R1/R2 no sunroof FD, and no budget limit.
Accept "anything but red", so no conflict of interest here.

- Must be bone stock or lightly modified only (reliability upgrades as an example).
- Black exterior + black interior.
- Prefer 94/95. 93 ok.
- Good condition no rust.
- Clean title only.

Please PM me if you car is for sale and meet mine but not OP's criteria.
Serious buyer here.
