Description:
Selling my 1982 Mazda RX7. Runs and Drives like a champ. I can tell you what I know about this vehicle, while I cannot wholeheartedly verify everything listed as I have never personally had this engine apart.
13B - Carbureted, unsure of the sizing, never messed with it; Works great though, slow to start if its been sitting a bit but otherwise fires up every time hot or cold
No OMP, Ive been running 87 with about 1oz of 2 stroke per gal
S5 Rotors
3mm Apex Seals
Street Ported - Alleged to make 180-200hp but I never saw that dyno sheet
Full exhaust, albeit "custom" - flows real good, but *real* loud
Eibach Ground Control Coilovers
Toyo R888Rs
Disc brakes all around
4.44 Rear end
2000 Mazda Miata 5spd, **however** 5th gear is missing and has a spacer in its place
Probably as much weight reduction as possible on the car
Half Cage/Roll bar
Lexan Front and Rear windows
Fuel Cell - 14 or 15 gal I cant remember
Pretty new 5 point Harnesses, I want so say from June 2023
Nice big radiator with electric fan
There is literally nothing in this car that you *dont need*
**The Bad**
There is literally nothing in this car you don't need: No wipers, No headlights, No AC, No Door windows - Its race car
There is a little bit of rust in the passenger rear quarter by the tire, the body is a little banged up in places, the doors might as well not be there, and it's not always pretty
She runs good, and is an absolute AutoX weapon. Does great on Track as well, but without 5th gear really long straights, like NCM arent amazing. Really shines on shorter tracks or lots of turns.
Here’s a little more information about the car from the guy who built it (not me, I didn’t build it). Hopefully it’ll be helpful for anyone interested in the car.
-13B with mild street port and Weber 48 IDA, about 190hp at the wheels (with potential for more)
- Car weighs ~1850 lbs
- Like it was said, rotors have 3 mm apex seals (ceramic one piece seals) and I am fairly sure the rotors are S5's that have been machined to accept 3mm seals
- Standard "IT" suspension, Tokico up front with camber plates, Koni in the rear with 3-link (when I owned it)
Its a solid track car that starts every time and will scare the pants off you when you mash the gas.
GLWS!

I have no clue as the the engine mileage on it.
This link is still processing as of edit, but its the most recent video I have of it running at the moment.
Sorry its not amazing, but it was my first solo session, I was much much faster the next day

For any potential buyers, I thought this would shed some light on the reliability and quality of this engine. Here is the dyno sheet from when the car/engine was built, keep in mind this is wheel horsepower. Another reminder, I did not build the car. The guy who built it ran a rotary shop in St. Louis for over 20 years and raced these cars for a long time. He knows these cars inside and out, & this is a perfect example of a car that was built to spend all day at the track and not let you down.
