Description:

I updated my ECU and I'll be converting to a DBW Throttlebody to complement it.

As a result, my throttlebody is up for sale. This TB has been modified by RC Fuel Injection to flow more CFM while retaining a smooth idle. The secondary intake ports measure 54mm each, with the primary being 45mm. Both secondary butterflies were replaced by RC in the process. The throttlebody comes with a new o-ring and all parts as shown.

Asking price is $495 plus shipping.

I had no idea RC Engineering fabricates a big bore throttle body for our cars Any idea how much more this thing flows versus the stock unit?

That's a great question!! I honestly don't know since I never had a maf sensor in to actually compare. I can ask around locally to see if I can find a stock TB to measure though. That should give some idea.

I made ~ 480whp with a precision 6265 on this TB and it didn't bat an eye.

I had this service done through rotorsport racing back in the day, he subcontracts the TB to RC Injectors. When I ordered it I also sent my UIM and LIM in for extrude honing, teflon coating (interior) and ceramic coating (exterior).

I dug around a bit more and it seems that folks see the best gains when pairing a bored out TB with flow increases in the LIM/UIM as well. I'm seriously on the fence about just ordering one of the new cast UIMs from Turblown, if I do then I'll likely take this down and sell my extrude honed UIM as a package deal with this TB.
