Helpful to know which dash harness. Your Vin would be a clue. Also there is the Instrument harness and the dash harness. They get mixed up.
Are you sure which one you need? Or maybe you need both?
There are three main harnesses in the engine bay. The one called the "front harness" is massive and very hard to get intact.

I recently got this FD "Instrument Harness" off YAJ. The gauge cluster is fed by four plugs. Two of the plugs are connected directly to the instrument harness and two are connected by a sub-harness which connects to the instrument harness. There are many versions of the instrument harness, but the subharness seems to maintain a more consistent part number. Unfortunately the part number tags are missing from this example. I am trying to determine which version it is by comparing to other instrument harnesses I have.

Here is a front harness I sourced locally likely from a 1999 Version 5 car. I have since moved it on to another member. One problem with the front harness, if its wrappings have been breached, is when water gets in, the water can migrate throughout the harness. It is a major operation to remove and replace the front harness.

Yea I knew the front harness was a PITA to get out, I have to remove my dash to fix the HVAC system, so I figure I might as well. I did not realize there were diff types of cluster harnesses though, maybe I’ll have to repost when I get that far and figure it out lol

Look for the part number tags on the harnesses. The tag for the instrument harness is often found on the branch of the harness that runs to the center arm rest switches.
There is a sub-harness for the HVAC.
There is also the "Dash Harness" often referred to as the "firewall" harness.

BTW, you can download all the JDM wiring manuals from the link in his thread.

It takes 300 MB, so watchout!

Got some harnesses in from YAJ. Looks like Version 5 and Version 4 (16bit ecu) Emissions Harness are very similar. Considering new Version 5 harnesses run as much as C$1800, good know we might be able to substitute with Version 4. Third pic shows the wire that runs off the Emission Harness to go back to the transmissions and connects to the sensors there. Many used harness have this wire cut-off.
Version 5 Emissions Harness (Top), Version 4 (bottom).
Engine harness (likely version 4).
Transmission sensor connectors, part of Emissions Harness.

The wiring diagram shows both the Front harness and the Engine harness connecting to the main fuse block. It is likely the Front harness connects by spade connectors and the engine harness by bolt on eye connectors.
