Description:

Looking for (2) pigtails/harnesses that would plug into the RHD fender side markers. I need the style to the left of the picture attached. Or does anyone offer a simple plug N play?

No, they are OEM that came with the fenders

Going to check local junkyards to see if they have the 01-06 tribute harness and hope it's what I need.

For reference, early JDM did not come with pigtails.(Versions 1~3). Yours may have been modified or replaced with USDM versions.

Ok, so the one on the right is from my LHD 93, the one on the left is from a set of RHD fenders I bought. I am converting my USDM fenders / side markers to JDM fenders / side markers.

Likely the wires for the JDM fender turn signal markers run off the JDM front harness.

So people may not want to snip a pigtail off of a front harness.

There is a chance the same connector is used elsewhere in the FD on a less precious harness.

But that requires searching through the wiring diagrams..

It is frustrating that Mazda does not give the part number for the connectors. (afaik)

Here is the symbol for the side turn signal plug F1-02/03. I do not see a similar plug on any of the other wiring diagrams. Those side markers were also used on in period USDM Protege maybe up to at least 2004. You might have a better chance with that. The side markers can still be bought at the Mazda dealership.

My experience is that the Protege markers might have a different female side (bulb holder) of the plug. In which case you might want to also retrieve the protege side marker bulb holder, and the clipping of the pigtail.
