Description:

Car started out as a Montego blue automatic. Pettit Racing installed one of their "Blue printed" manual transmission.  The 3.90 rear was swapped out for a 4.44 gear. Pettit SS clutch installed and I have a better clutch from RX7.com waiting to go in. The car was wrapped in a satin black.

It has so many mods I don't know where to begin.
At about 57k miles I purchased a new Mazda crated motor which Kilo Racing took apart and gave it some Puerto Rican love with one of his large street ports and swapped the APEX seals out for some coated REC seals. The motor and all mods have about 10k miles since new. Compressions are 117-108-107 rear and 105ish in the front. This is with a very warm motor.
I am too ashamed to say how many oil changes this new motor had since install. Let's just say probably 10x more than actually required.

* New Hitachi 3KAI twin turbos were installed with new motor. These are probably the best upgraded twin you can get. From Hitachi with all the best. They have instant boost and yes you can turn them up. I have ran them mostly at 12psi with some hits at 14psi. .... They can handle 16,18, 20 whatever.

1. Pettit cool charge III with new "Hump hoses" and heat dispersent coating and ceramic barriers where needed. Same with the piping. They are ceramic coated and wrapped.
2. Custom intake which started out as a Pettit intake. We made it better.
3. AEM water injection system with Sakebomb tank hidden in the rear. Controller behind drivers seat. Fail safe gauge installed in center of 3 pod dash mount.
4. 550 primaries with ID1700x secondaries with RP rail. New Pulsation damper SARD FPR. Supra TT pump with sakebomb rewire kit.
5. ARD alternator with probably 4k miles or less. The best alternator PERIOD. The voltage is unbelievably solid. I also have a sun auto voltage thing and several addition grounds on the car. The voltage as stated is rock solid.
6. Coils are new oem. The ignition is probably the best ignition you can get imo. It is custom from Xavier Borg whom invented FC Tweak for the PFC. (IGN 10x-B). Magnecor plug wires.
7. PFC tuned with FC Tweak. I do not believe you can get something to tune a PFC better.
I will consider including the FC Tweak with laptop in sale...
8. All rear bushing replaced with Poly except where oem is required or preferred. Oem was replaced with new oem. Fronts are excellent.
9. New Fortune Auto coilovers 500s They are incredible. RB front sway bar. Suspension was origionally set up by Pettit.
10. Alignment is perfect and the car tracks beautifully straight.
11. I am running 245/35-18 in front and 275/35-18 in the rear. They car does not plow or understeer with this setup and is a monster on roads like Deals Gap (tail of dragon). It is quick, nimble, and absolutely explodes out of the corners)
12. Bőnez ceramic coated and wrapped DP with Bőnez Hiflow cat, and RB dual muffler. I have the square magnaflow Midpipe to throw in.
13. Bőnez brakes and hawk pads.
14. Koyo Nflo rad with upgraded water pump and pineapple racing pulley.
15. Dual mishimimoto oil coolers
16. Infiniti front and rear speakers with Memphis amps and sub.
17. Seats re covered with excellent quality from RX7.com

Not sure what else to say. Interior is well above avg imo. There is one tiny crack in the rear hatch area on the rear plastic panel.
I am sure I am leaving out something.
That's the good.

Now for the bad.

I currently have an exhaust leak which I just narrowed down. Hopefully it is a loose bolt on the 2nd turbo..

Brake calipers could use some love.

Why am I selling?

It is a sad realization I am having. I live in South Florida. The car sits in the garage. Then it sits in the garage more. I start it up and take it down a few miles of straight roads to warm it up. I get on I 595 entrance ramp and hammer it.. Hit 2nd hard and kick the *** out a little. It snaps back in line I pull 3rd with a grin on my face then have to let off because I am well above the limit. Then I drive miles back home on the straights nice and easy to cool it down. I like to see people video it and take pics. Get the thumbs up... they can't see me as the windows are black, but I am happy they get enjoyment. There are no roads worthy of this car around me.
I am diving and fishing a lot. I have a wife, 2 kids, and a dog...... I guess I feel like it is a waste for me to stare at in the garage. I can't afford to track this car. I would prefer to put the $ elsewhere. It will be a sad day when I sell it, but I hope whoever gets it can enjoy it for what it is. .... even if that means just staring at it in their garage.

In the condition it’s in right now, would the car make a cross country trip?

Price seems completely fair. Can you post a few more pictures of the car and the engine bay?

I can post some more pics. I need a bit of time. There is no reason why it couldn't make it anywhere. .... Not that I am aware of anyway.

I should say all the solenoids have been replaced in the simplified rats nest. Of course all the vacuum/boost lines were done. The UIM is barrier coated on the bottom amd dispersent on top.

Some of the fuse blocks were even replaced with oem because I wanted. They didn't need it. I still have the origionals which are in perfect condition.

Ign box 10XB vs oem. The Achilles heel of the stock FD ignition.

Not sure if the sub will be included lol, but this pic shows the crack on the rear plastic. As you can see the fill cap is a rotary emblem... thats the sakebomb water/meth tank.

J Auto "launch kit" and pillow ball bushings
rest as described above.... all the nastiness out and in with the good.
These pics are not with the fortune auto installed. I drove home from Mazda pros and installed them right after this. Then went ro get an alignment via Howard Coleman's specs.

I am amazed that there were no offers at all. I guess the wrap doesn't go to far these day?

Nice car with lots of effort put in and desirable mods. Maybe folk are a bit distracted.

Or maybe you are just supposed to own it for a while longer.

GLWS!

I am thinking the later... could be a sign lol. Get this small exhaust leak fixed. The temp is getting cooler around here. May be time to head back to Homestead track with itwith back up north for some good roads.
