Description:
*FIRST THING FIRST* The Price is Negotiable, I am not firm on it, as I am more interested in someone saving it than raping someone's wallet!
This has a Salvage TX Title, it will have to be repaired or turned into a Track Car unless you want to work on a Rebuilt Title.
With that said, I have a 92 RE Amemiya RX7 Shell up for sale or Trade for Aftermarket Parts, Wheels, Accessories ETC. If you want to Pay cash and Partial trade, that's fine as well, I am open to offers.
I originally bought it for a parts car, then thought about (what if) I was going to Repair and Tube chassis the front, However I decided to use it for parts instead for my USDM FD. The left rear upper quarter and roof is dented from tree limbs when it was ran into a tree line. The front left corner frame is pretty harshly bent from the tire twisting into the sidemember while steering was locked out to the left and caused it to collapse superstructure from the angle of the ditch.
Any frameshop worth their salt can fix this however I don't have the space at my guys shop to wait 6-8 months (plus storage fees) for an available space to open up for the frameshop to pull it out. So it's easier to gut it down to the shell so there is nothing impeding proper repair.
Again, This car is a *Project/Shell Only* and is being sold as such. I hope someone will take this as I would hate to have to send it to the scrapyard as a last resort. I am willing to work with someone who is willing to save it from that fate.
If someone contacts me before I begin tearing it down and wants to pay for it (Less the Engine, Transmission, Exhaust and Driveline) as a Rolling Chassis I am willing to do that as well.
I've seen burnt engine Rx's selling for 20k+ on Copart and Other Auction Sites. So understand that I will not give it up for dirtcheap as it's worth more in parts than as a whole..
Hit me Up and let's talk, I will entertain all serious inquiries.
Might be worth looking into the history some more. It seems it is too early a car to be one of the supplied-to-tuner ones.
But worth looking into none the less.

I have a Silver 93 so the 92 is not really on the priority list, so it would be better for someone to get it and save it. Because I honestly don't have the spare money to throw at Two FDs.

So this would make that car an very early example of a RE-A tuning icon car.
IMO, best to leave it as is. Put it on a pedestal and charge tourists $25 to take their picture with it.
Apparently the Re-A sideskirts are the most rare parts, with the other parts still somewhat more available.
In any event, remove all the Re-a stuff before crushing and post up the RE-s VIN number plate for $1000 on ebay and see what happens.

Interest in FD as collectable cars is growing very strongly worldwide. Also the whole JDM tuner car fantasy world is expanding.
Therefore, it may be better to leave the car as is, and see if someone wants to add it to their collection.
There is a Japanese ethos of "damaged perfection".
I wonder what the significance of VIN # RE-303. Is it third of a series or 303rd?

If this guy has the front clip, he may also have the A-Pillar cross section.

If it *IS* special though? You can feel the shame of knowing you played a part in it's destruction.

I wish I could get ahold of Ray Crowe, but he's not answering his Facebook messenger.
If they have the front clips the may have the other chassis bits as well.
Fly up for cheap. Rent a uhaul.
And run back.
Pick up both clips while you are at it.
Plus whatever other goodies they have lying around.
