Mazda RX-7 1993 - 2002
Description:

Fresh out of powder coating and in PERFECT condition is a set of 17" RS Wheels
17x8+50
17x8.5+50

Although in perfect condition, there is a problem with the center caps. I have 3 of them and 2 are broken. its the mounting tabs off the back that are broken. i can include them if youd like but only 1 is actually usable. regardless, there are center cap options available.

the barrels and everything have been cleaned up as well. for those that dont know, this is an OEM wheel that came on the RS model factory staggered 17s. Comes with brand new valve stems and your choice of chrome or black lug nuts. all you would need are tires.

also, just to note the wheels are that oem silver color. the pictures make them look closer to gun metal and they arent.

1300 shipped in the conus

Thank you and yes, they did a VERY good job with these. Definitely looks like 1998 all over again.

probably cant really tell from the video but this is what they look like before. I had them on my car as shipping wheels when it came over from Japan

Are they all the reinforced version of the 99spec rims (all the wheel hubs look the same on the back side)?

Pretty sure theres only 1 version of the RS wheel. These arent the standard 16" 99 wheels.

I was also surprised, but similar to the 16's there are early and late versions of those 17's
The rear picture you show of 1 of them is the reinforced version

Ohhohohoho interesting. Cool to know. I wouldn't have thought there would have been a redesign for such a small output model.

I'll check the back of all them and see what's up. I'm pretty sure they're all the same though

The rears could be 8.5" and the fronts 8.0" to spec.

I agree. Or the fronts could be 8.5 and rears 8 out-of-spec but only in Australia.

FD Stock wheels examples.

My car with the 99 RS spec 17" wheels (staggered).

Refinished Stock 99 Wheels 9 11 16

YVR Seaplane docks.

My car with 99 16" Type RB wheels. These would have been the show room wheels for this car.

My car with the original "light weight" S6 wheels (version 1-4).

I'd be interested just to have a spare set if anything horrible happens to my originals (which are not refinished. Still the factory finish on them... )

They weigh roughly 17lb's both front and rear. The rears might be slightly heavier.. just shy of 18lbs.. closer to 17.5lbs for the rears. The fronts are usually 16.8-17lbs. Which is why I just say they're 17lbs all around.
