Would someone be able to tell me what these are?

Would someone be able to tell me what these are?

Was replacing the thermostat on my 86 N/A FC when I noticed these behind the area:

Top is the vacuum line for secondary throttle plates. Keeps them closed when cold. Your check valve is broken in half.
Bottom connector is for an auxiliary fan temp sensor on Auto or AC cars. Your thermostat neck doesn't have the sensor, so just leave it unplugged.

Thanks alot! Quick question though. My car runs VERY hot with the A/C on. Would this be due to the missing fan temp sensor? I've been trying to pinpoint the issue for a couple of days to no avail.

It's prettty small and only useful at low speeds. Do you have the auxiliary fan in front of the condenser? What radiator fan are you using? Do you have the undertray?
Overheating at high speeds check blockage of the condenser and ducting.
Overheating at slow speeds, radiator fan and aux fan do the work.

I do NOT have the smaller auxillary fan. With the A/C on, it overheats at low speeds. When I was on the highway, it cooled down a bit

So, definitely looking at either a new fan clutch/electric fan and auxillary fan?

Is this a regular thing or just right now during a heat wave?
Adding the auxiliary fan might do the trick, but you'll also have to install a thermoswitch or a manual switch.
The stock fan should still work decently well even if the clutch is worn out. start with the auxiliary pusher fan.

typically the aux fan was added to the turbo and automatic cars, so the manual non turbo won't have it. wiring should all be there
