welcome to the board.

it might help to post your car (put it in your signature), in this case it may not make an awful amount of difference, but for other questions it will.

anyway, you have choices.
1. you can try to source all your factory connectors new. there is a website (i thought i had it saved in my browser favorites, but apparently i don't. ) that sources them, or at least most of them brand new. i just didn't a basic search and came up with bupkis, but it has been posted on this board a few times. it would be worth looking if that's what you want to do.

2. you can get a used harness for your car and pirate what you need to build your new harness.

3. you can switch to different connectors altogether. i went with GM Weatherpacks, but there are others: some more expensive (Deatch [sp.?]) and some less expensive.

i'm relatively new to this EMS install stuff, so there may be easier ways that i'm not aware of so keep looking beyond my advice if no one else chimes in.

Corsa-technic has a pretty good supply of terminals and housings
2-way Motorsport Connectors - Corsa Technic
A decent set of ratcheting "W" crimpers will be necessary as well. Mine are similar to these:
SIJIAWU Professional Molex Crimping Tool (0.5mm to 6.0mm) - modDIY.com

I hate taped or split sleeve harnesses. /Personal opinion/
The pros use Raychem DR-25 with glue lined boots/splits. The result is awesome but the cost is about the same as wrapping it in $20 bills.... $50s if you slap mil-spec connectors on the ends.
My alternative is polyester woven sleeve with glue lined heat shrink at the ends and splits. Hit the ends of the sleeve with a lighter after cutting to keep it from fraying.
McMaster Carr #9196K11 and #9196K12

most people go a little overboard with the materials, i have used simple friction tape that is sold at many hardware stores for years and years and it works well, very well in fact. it's self sealing, weatherproof, handles the 200F constant temps just fine and does well with chafing. the only downside is it gets messy if you leak any form of petroleum product on it(but it still holds up fine). i guess it's fine to spend more if you anticipate fuel regularly getting onto your loom, but even the best materials will break down under those conditions.
