Wiper blade issue. Need help.

So in short, my wiper blades just stop working. And I know why, I just need help finding the part, so if anyone can help, that would be great!

The arm that controls the blades gets attached to the motor by a small, round clip/cover sort of thing. Well the cover clip thing I've got is cracked so it comes unattached and the wiper arm comes unattached from the motor. I don't know what this clip is called, much less where to find a new one.

Did that post make sense at all to anyone, or has anyone else had a similar problem and found a better way to fix it?

unless you think the whole club is psychic and knows what series and year of car you have, you may want to state that fact.
that is why this is posted:
LINK:https://www.rx7club.com/new-member-r...swers-1030345/

(NOTE: Also it is in the rules that you do not try to ask for parts ..Only INFO..
You can find info on parts then use the resources available to get it,Just do not try to acquire parts in this section as it is TECH and not the Classifieds section.Any hint of a transaction gets the whole thread wiped.)

My mistake.. I've got a 1985 mazda rx-7, first gen, and it's got the 1.1 liter engine in it. No modifications, all stock.
And let me rephrase this then... Anyone have information on what that clip is called, or a better way to fix the problem.

My old first 84 first gen had the wiper assembly seize.

I took the whole thing out and replaced with another one i cleaned and greased. It has been awhile but since then but im sure whatever clip your looking for it would be easier to replace the wiper rack with a better condition one that u can grease up and put back in.

It wasnt all that hard to take out or replace and at least you would have piece of mind that another clip wont break.... As soon. Im almost sure i broke the clip your talking about when removing old rack so it was nice to have a whole other rack to use
