Hi I’m fitting a stock set of wing mirrors to my fd this week as it currently has an aftermarket set I know the bolts are m6 - 1.0 but what length are they I’ve ordered some 50mm ones will they be ok?

 

Never had mine off, but 50mm sounds awfully long to me.

 

if you figure out what works, report back...my OEM mirrors are loose, so I'm thinking for just replacing them.

 

Got round to replacing my wing mirrors yesterday 50mm bolts are far to long 35-40 should be sufficient and I stuck a ny-lock bolt on to and replaced the securing bolt as there are 3 bolts that hold the base/mirror down
