Where is the voltage regulator on a 1983 rx7

I had a problem last weekend with my Rx7 and the alternator belt broke. So obviously when I was driving the car died. I got home and I replaced the belt and it started rigth up. The next day I took the car for a spin and the the car died again but the belt didn’t break this time and all the warning lights in the dash turned on. I though it was the alternator going bad so I replaced and also I got a new battery. It turns out the car starts now but all the warning lights in the dash still keep turning on. So I took it to autozone to check if the alternator was charging the battery and the guy said that in his machine is says that the voltage regulator is failing. So I think I have to get a new voltage regulator the thing is I can find where it is in the car and I have looked everywhere and did research too and I still can’t find it. I have attached an image of the one that I believe is the one I need for my 1983 fb rx7. Pls let me know if am correct and where in the car the voltage regulator is located.

the alternator is internally regulated.

I'm a little confused. You replaced the alternator and the car had the same symptoms so you took the alternator to the parts store and they told you the regulator was bad. This means your new alternator is bad.

I'm experiencing the same problems. New battery, new alt, all tested good. Dash lights flicker with all warning lights,no charge to battery and headlights pop on and off. Just headlights, not running lights. Gremlins!

I was told it could be a fusable link, a bad relay or bad switches. It would be terrible if it was the switch as I'm not sure that can be repaired or replaced. 🤷‍♂️

I'd look at the column switch. And yes, it can be replaced.

Sometimes all they need is to be cleaned with electric cleaner. I'd also check for a loose connection on the main battery wiring at the fusible links and ignition switch.
