Where exactly does everyone get their parts from?

Is it worth going down to the Mazda dealership and ordering through them (this is doable right?)

Should I get my parts through Mazdatrix?

I plan on doing some work with my 1991 NA RX-7...changing motor/transmission mounts (maybe), and I also need spark plugs, radiator/cooler hoses, and a new clutch (stock preferably).

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes I order from the dealer, sometimes Mazdatrix. It all depends on whether either one has the part.

Put all your sources up against each other.

http://www.RockAuto.com is a good source for some parts.
Your typical chain stores (Advance Auto Parts, O'Reileys, Shucks, Kragen, Pep Boys or whatever.)

http://www.forparts.com is the URL for Olympus Imported Parts a local parts shop that specializes in imported parts.

It all depends on what you need.

So far I've only used Malloy Mazda / Ray Crowe. The prices are much better than my local dealership.

And prices will vary between the two, correct? Or are they generally the same?

go ebay first, some parts are used, some are new, but you'll always get it for cheap
Craigslist your local and surrounding areas for places, i just found a jackpot of fc parts in Kansas City =D
then go mazdatrix or the dealership

Since you're in NJ, I'd shop from Malloy Mazda in Woodbridge VA. Contact info is in the 3rd gen FAQ. Prices are a little better than Mazdatrix and you won't have to pay upgraded shipping to get your stuff in a reasonable amount of time.

Same hear, Malloy is great for replacement parts, I've gotten FC, FD, and Miata parts from them.
