PA wheel and tire fit

I would like to know if i can put 15x8 wheels 40mm offset and 205/50/15 on an 85 rx7 gs without any rubbing issue with the tires i am starting another project and im starting with the wheels and tires, any help appriciated thanks in advance to all.

I can't tell you for sure, but that seems like a pretty doable setup. Currently I run 15x7s with a 225/45/15. A 17x8 will reportedly fit with around a 40 offset so I think that you should be ok.

15x8s with that higher offset may be close to your suspension if it's a shock and spring setup, be mindful.

you will not rub even if the car is lowered as long as your not slammed you should be fine good luck
