Wheel fitment ?'s

Hey guys new to wheel/tire fitment on RX7's have been messing with nissan s chassis mostly for the last 10 years.

Have a 93 FD and some leftover wheels from my S14 that I had new tires for already.

The car is stock sheetmetal and the wheels are advan t6, sizing is as follows.

F: 18x10 +19 w/ 255/35/18
R: 19x10 +19 w/ 265/30/19

I'm not afraid of some stretch and mostly wondering if a roll/pull is going to accommodate these wheels. I have pulled plenty out of s chassis sheet metal before but have no experience with rx7 fenders.

Unfortunatley, I fail at documenting things, so here's some pictures that won't lend any help. Experienced advice welcome. Front is a bit pokey, rear as well, nothing crazy though.

whats up... i see youre semi local to me. if youve rolled one set of fenders then youve rolled them all. the fd isnt special in this aspect. id be more concerned with the 18/19 stagger. whats up with that?

I have actually been eyeballing your 99 bumper thread the last few days haha.

I was looking the car over and it definitely seems like it is very similar to a 240sx in the way the sheetlmetal is layered in the rear. I was just wondering if people generally have decent luck with pulling out some extra room without buckling the quarter. (and I need like 7 more posts so I can buy/sell/trade haha)

The stagger was not a choice, rather just how it worked out. I am a big fan of these wheels but they are hard to find in aggressive widths and offsets. This set popped up for sale and I had to have them, but I didn't like them on my S14. They are similar in weight to a TE37, definitely unique, and were cheaper than TE's used so I said what the hell. I almost bought some 17x9 +22 TE's a few weeks ago but I have too many sets of wheels at the moment.

The overall tire height is the same as stock or a tiny bit taller in the rear ~25.5" and slightly shorter up front at ~25"

Also, I rolled an NB miata once and it sucked. There's like 90 layers of metal fused together at the rear of the quarter panel opening where it meets the bumper. I am glad that this doesn't seem to be the case with FD's.

i see... that makes sense. you can pull the rear fenders A LOT before running into any issue. just make sure you heat it up and work carefully. on my blue car, i had the fenders pulled to be flush with the shine/feed rear over fenders. the body man was telling me that he pulled it to the absolute limit.

im talking with someone now about buying it. he seems pretty serious but if it falls through then this could be your chance =D

this was before the fender was fully installed. im just holding it to the car.

That is quite a bit! I usually try to pull the quarter panel as much as possible and try to avoid creating a flared/curled out lip. That is quite a bit of a pull though so I think you are right I won't stress it much.

GLWS on your bumper! I actually have a 99 bumper support, lip, and bumper. The lip and support are in decent shape but my bumper is cracked in one spot and wavy/warped along the top like most turbo cars end up. I am stuck between a rep with no plate and a legit '99 with plate mount (I'm leaning this way since I have the OEM support)
