You forgot Auxiliary Injection. Then you can boost the heck out of it, enjoy better-than-stock reliability, longer engine life, and only feed it pump gas. Oh, and a fully-rigged AI system will stay under $1000. Usually $500.

That is also another good alternative to make it more reliable.

i daily my ls1 rx7 and have put almost 10k miles on it in a little over 2 months, if you want amazing reliability, put a ls1 in it. i put gas in the car and check the oil and im good to go. those 10k miles have been quite hard as well, and no problems for me.

well so far my cars been reliable...

seems to run ok..

we'll see as time goes on.
i am LLOOOVING THIS FRICKIN FD!!! it's AMAZING!! 4 cars with 2 girls in each pulled up next to me and smiled and said nice car!! already!! tons of ppl ask about it even more people look!!!

I had a limo-full of girls pull up and they were all yelling that to me last friday. Enjoy your car man.

Has anyone addressed Mazda's seeming lack of proficiency with electrical stuff. Fortunately, most of it's cheap, but I have a couple buddies, one with an S4 FC and the other an S6 FD that are both having minor electrical issues. Here's hoping my RX-8 doesn't suffer the same fate in ten years. Although, I guess if that little detail is enough to dissuade you, you don't love the car enough anyways
