what's the Sensor below transmission area place

So from what i read about it, its some sort of cat sensor and is supposed to bypass air somehow to cool off the cat if it gets to hot or something like that. Now im wondering just how important this little doodle dad is because i kinda lost mine. And now my car tends to be a little hooter than usual. Also the exhaust heat light comes on and off whenever it feels like it.

Sounds like you're talking about the air injection system. It dumps air into the cat to aid in cleaner exhaust.

I think you should reconnect it. You should have little trouble finding replacement parts from a junkyard or tuner shop, as many people delete this system when they get wild with their power craze.

Thanks, but reconnecting is kinda out of the question. I took te car to a track we have up in nago to due a little circuit track we set up. My first time doing anyhting like this and it was **** loads aof fun. But at the beginning, i remember seeing it hanging loose before i raced, kinda thought i need to fix that later, well several hours and a few cones later, i checked on it and the dang thing was grinded off, best way to put it. Am i gonna have to remove the cat to fix this, or is this some secondary sytem thing a i can disconnect?

Except for the short section of tube attached to the cat itself, it's all replaceable.

I would change it. Without it, the cat can fail prematurely.
