whats the best way to learn how to take care of rotary engine

i dont know nothing about cars and i heard that if you dont take care of a rotary engine good that you can blow off some kind of seals or something and that they are a little bit more difficult to take care of and i was wondering if theres a place i can learn how to take care of my fc

you think i can go mazdatrix store place in signal hill and they will teach me cause i checked mapquest and i live 20 miles away from there

Change the oil regularly. You might consider feeding it water or seafoam to clean it once every year or two. Keep the coolant changed regularly and only mix it with distilled water. Keep an eye on the oil level and don't let it get low.

If it ever begins to overheat, shut it off. Don't limp it home. Damage from overheating is probably the NA rotary's only weakness.

That's all. They're actually pretty tough engines when you don't have twin turbos bolted onto them.

Get the shop Manual

Depending on which model car you have almost everyone of them has a shop manual that will tell you anything and everything about the car down to every clip on the door panels. There is also Alldatadiy.com now that is basically a shop manual you pay to have access to online. That is how I grew up, in my house we had a shop manual for every car in the driveway.
