What will it take to make it work?

I want to purchase a used rotary engine from a 1991 RX7. It is fuel injected and was going to be used as a replacement in a fellows car before he decided not to. That was about 5 years ago. I have the opportunity to buy it for a project tractor, I like the amount of HP it produces for it's relatively small size and lower weight. What I need to know is what will it take to make the engine run in my tractor?

I figure it is computer controlled from within the car, I wouldn't have those parts, just the engine and fuel injection parts like how you would take it out of the car. I don't have a huge budget for extras like buying carbs and manifolds to switch it out. I would like to drop it in the frame of the tractor hook up a few wires to some things and have it work.

Is this possible? Or should I be looking at other (piston) engines? Thank you very much for your help!

It will need the same parts as a piston motor - fuel, spark, compression. If all you have is a shortblock, you'll need manifolds and such. You can buy them used here if that is what you want.

I understand these are low in torque, but it will be hydraulically driven so I just needed an engine with at least 100 HP to turn a pump. I really like the overall size of it. I would have preferred a carburated one but this is fuel injected. It has most all of the pieces I believe. I need an alternator, a coil pack, and a fuel pump, other than that it should be good to go.
