what version FC is this?
well i got my 86 FC as a graduation present last year and finally have gotten a chance to start working on it. but i cant, for the life of me, figure out exactly which version it is. i think its a GXL but could someone please verify? its got the 13B N/A engine, 5 lug, auto adjusting suspension, and power doors/windows. also, I was told it had the turbo body on it. its pretty much stock, but let me know if you need any other info

It's a GXL that has been repainted and a wing has been added. That style wing was not offered till halfway through the 87 model year. The seats are GXL, the AAS is GXL only and power windows/locks/sunroof seal the deal. The best part is what you don't see. All GXL's came with a LSD. Booyah.
that's interesting with the wing, i never knew that.
as far as the paint, it was originally the A3, can anyone identify if that matches either the top or bottom, or was the whole car repainted?

i believe GXLs started after '87, all '86s were base model 4 lug afaik.
the seats actually look reupholstered, i have never seen leather "style" seats in that style before in an FC. but only the GXL had AAS so the answer is simple, i just believe you have the year of your car wrong, the build date is going to be about half a year earlier than the model of the car.

this is so weird i have an 86 with 5 bolt an lsd a wing AAS full (2+2) leather interior and its numbers matching and Canadian so the year cannot be wrong? so maybe his year is right? also i just bought it three months ago and know nothing of rx7s previous to that date so i could just be confused...
