TX what are these?

ok just got my car and im in the process of trying to get it running properly. doing the water pump i see some lines that appear to be melted to the block. so after removing the intake manifold i see wear the line is supposed to connect. there are four lines from the bottom of the motor, connected by a long rod to the throttle, four banjo bolts hold it down then the lines run up the block under the intake to some sort of vacuum holding devices?? what are these and can they be deleted or unplugged? i ended up breaking one of the lines at the bolts end and a few on the top are melted to the block.

That is part of the Oil metering system.
If you deleted that you must "premix" your Gas with 2 stroke oil.(1 oz of 2 cycle oil to one gallon gasoline.)
The purpose of the system is to inject oil into teh internal so the apex seals etc are lubricated.
Without any lube( OMP system or Premix) the seals will eventually fail and it's rebuild time.

Does this system fail on most 1st gens? Is it rare to have a factory stock working pre-oiler system today in a first gen?
