MN What Spoiler Looks Better?

Im looking at putting a spoiler on my FD and I dont know what to get. I have narrowed it down to a plastic STI style wing or a carbon fiber wing with cnc aluminum brackets.

Im trying to keep this car as a show piece and not a race/rice car. Thoughts?

anyone ever do rear mounts?

This isn't isn't a technical question and saying you want to keep it a "show peice" and not rice, yet ask about a big wing........ it's confusing.

Only YOU can dictate what looks good on your car..because..it's YOUR Car.
No offense but you are asking others to spend your money to make a car that they do not even own!..and at the end of the day you are the one that drives it!
Make the car YOURS..do what your heart says and Screw the "get this wing because it's mad tyte yo!"
If it's Sooo Tyte then they should do you a BIG favor and Pay for it too!

OH..that reminded me of a Time I went out in my FC and had the "park bench" on the car..
It Looked real good BUT there was a Guy that followed me all over the damn place and when I stopped at the light I could hear him Yellin.."hey dude"..
He said Nice car but the wing "had to go"

So it Did...I showed him a nice View of the wing..when I slammed it into First and smoked him out !!

OEM 99-spec on a stock body, if you have bodykit/wide get a proper race wing.

I like the stock 99 rx7 spoiler. If I had a stock FD I would put that and the front bumper on it and that is it!

MN

Keep it OEM or nothing. I think the spoilerless FDs look the best tbh.

I enjoy my low profile shine auto spoiler, but it will be a royal PITA when I have to change tail lamps because it mounts to the tail lights and keeps them from being uninstalled without taking the spoiler off (2 way taped to all 3 pieces)

Get the biggest basket handle that you can fit. Those ones that look like they came off of a Supra but way bigger and only glued on. Then do nothing else to the body except a set of wheels with a 0 offset and make sure to leave cigarette packs on the lips. Maybe finish it off with some carbon fiber canards and a 18" subwoofer.

Trophy time!

IMHO the car can't be at stock height with stock wheels and no spoiler. That doesn't mean it has to be slammed with stretched rubber and huge negative camber, but proportionally something seems off to me otherwise. My .02.

That's the one! What'd I tell ya? Racecar.

Glue that on your FD with a set of 20x7 XXRs and quadruple SSQVs.

Oh yeah. When you're not on the track and just out for slow cruisin' at the high school or BK with that special someone, that wing screams for accent lighting.

No wing looks nice, handles like crap at high speed. Ducktail for nice but non functional or amemiya gt2 low mount imo is sexy as far as big wings go.

Another +1 for the 99+ OEM wing. It just complements the rest of the car so well

I also like the carbon rear lip spoilers too. Subtle but further accentuates the rear's lines.

The 99 Specs look great, but I've started to like the look of the GT2 spoilers if you are going for a track car look.
