What makes your FD sound like an 80's Benz?

This is the only pic the shop sent me after removing the transmission to replace the clutch and flywheel, Old pilot bearing on left new one on right

I like them blonde with big "bazingas"..lol..

Seriously though,That bearing looks like what it would look like AFTER I take one out with the Dremel.But the Broke needle bearings ..wow..that thing didn't have a chance.

Bad pilot bearings will make noise. But here's hoping the shop just didn't have the proper bearing puller and caused that shrapnel. Because if it went to pieces like that on it's own, the input shaft might be tough to clean up.
