I'm in the processing of removing the interior from my '84 GSL-SE, and hanging right in front of the drivers side taillight is a white bag of some sort that seems to contain some kind of fluid. I didn't inspect it too closely yet to see where the tubes coming out of it go. I ran across this on another FB a few years ago, but I don't recall figuring out what it was for then. Google was no help, but I figure someone on here has got to know.

 

IIRC its the reservoir for the rear hatch cleaning fluid.

 

Windshield washer fluid?

Also, my dad's got a silver '83 with Rewinds as well.

 

Its a Colostomy bag,,some guy drove the **** out of that car!

Yep Its for rear windshield washer fluid or deicer this time of year.

 

And I thought it was brown on brown from the factory...

Another random question for you guys: Is this the bumper mount down in these holes in the back of the car? There plates over the holes, of course. One of them is severely rusted but the metal around it is fine.
